In-Home Assistance Program

Caring for a loved one with ALS is physically and emotionally demanding. This program helps families access professional in-home care when additional support is needed by providing $3,000 direct grants to families affected by ALS to help cover the cost of in-home care services. The program is designed to ease caregiver burden, promote patient safety, and allow individuals living with ALS to remain in their homes with dignity.

Purpose

ALS is a progressive, terminal disease that quickly increases dependence on full-time care. Many families face overwhelming costs for in-home assistance that are not fully covered by insurance. This program exists to bridge that gap by providing timely, compassionate financial support for essential in-home care needs.

Why This Program Matters

I have been lucky, that my condition has progressed more slowly than is often the case.
But it shows that one need not lose hope.
